Attorney Kottke grew up in rural northern Wisconsin but went to law school in St.Paul/Minneapolis. She has experience practicing in many areas of the law. She has spent a significant portion of her career focusing on criminal defense but has extensive experience in small claims, family law and divorces, child and adult adoptions, paternity actions, estate planning, elder law, CHIPS, guardianship actions, protective placement actions, mental health cases and even some property disputes. She has a genuine and empathetic approach. She truly listens and cares. Her time growing up on a dairy farm taught her much about being patient and hard working. During her career, she’s focused on trying to give those people who struggle to have a voice in our system, a say within our system. She’s dealt with legal actions involving race issues, socioeconomic issues, mental health issues, and status issues. She’s spent much of her time in law school working exclusively with veterans who struggled with service related physical and emotional injuries causing legal problems for them and veterans who just needed general legal services on family law cases. She fights for the little guy, the person who doesn’t always get a say. She can help be your voice. Schedule an appointment with her today!
